A freshly isolated
plasmid by alkaline lysis method is run in an 0.8% agarose electrophoresis. The plasmid was found to contain two
restriction sites for HindIII one for BamHI and three for SphI. Subsequently the
plasmid was digested BamH1 and was run in the same gel (above discussed gel). The
uncut plasmid corresponds to 1kB whereas the digested plasmid corresponds to
4kB. What is the size of the plasmid??

amino transferase and Acid phosphatase
c. Gamma
– glutamyl transferase and Alkaline phosphatase
d. Bilirubin
and acid phosphatase
Answer- The enzymes that are increased
in circulation in bone and prostate cancer is alkaline phosphatise and acid phosphatase respectively (‘a’ option).
Solution
Intracellular enzymes are those which
are tissue specific the level of which are increased when the particular tissue
damage. Certain enzymes have iso forms where each iso form is specific in a
particular tissue.
