1.      A DNA solution has a A260 value of 1.0. What is the DNA concentration in microgram DNA/mL?

Solution-  The answer can be obtained by Beer Lambert Law.
Concentration = A260/E260
                                          = 0.5/20 = 0.025mg DNA/mL
                           = 0.025 mdDNA/mL X 1000 µg/mg
                           = 25 µg DNA/mL
Therefore the sample has the concentration   of  25 µg DNA/mL
